A   House   without   Closets Can you make it as peaceful inside as it is outside? Hi - my name is Maria and I have a messy house. It all started when I was much younger, maybe 5 or 6. I remember always having to clean my room and it never seemed like it was ever quite clean enough. Then, as I got older, I got more things and more clutter. It just grew and grew and grew! I finally moved out of my parents house for good when I was 25. I thought, "Well, now I'll have a lot more space, so my room will no longer be messy." This proved to be untrue. My boyfriend of eight years has very few things and he can't stand clutter. We're on opposite sides of the fence and in the same house! It does have potential, however! I realize this is not the way to live and I know that I will be much more productive once I 'clear the clutter'. I've talked with therapists and once, when I was younger, one even came to my parents' house to help me clean my room. We made some headway, but as you can see below, it wasn't quite good enough. I had a Feng Shui expert come in to my home and do an energy clearing. That, too, helped to clear some of the mess (the house is actually a little cleaner than what you see in the photos) and, it dramatically improved my relationship with my boyfriend. But, alas, the mess remained - dented, but still present. I don't have friends over and most of my family has never seen the inside of my house. I would love to have a comfortable home for my boyfriend and I - a place where we can relax, entertain, and even invite people to stay over when they're in town! This spacious single-family home is situated on a beautiful waterway, in a quiet little town with wonderful neighbors. I am very fortunate to live here and I would love if someone could come into my home and help me clear it out - even if it was just one room!
